Ingredients:
- Baking Soda and Baking Powder: These act as leaveners to help the muffins rise.
- Butter: Melted butter adds richness and moisture to the muffins.
- Salt: A pinch of salt enhances the flavors of the other ingredients.
- All-Purpose Flour: Provides structure to the banana muffin batter.
- Egg: Binds the batter together and adds moisture.
- Bananas: Ripe bananas, mashed and ready to use.
- Sugar: White sugar sweetens the muffins.
Directions:
- Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 12-cup muffin tin by greasing it or lining the cups with paper liners.
- In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, mix together bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter until well combined. Fold in the flour mixture until the batter is smooth.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the tops of the muffins spring back when lightly pressed.
- Allow the muffins to cool briefly in the tin, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
