Homemade Burrito Recipe


 Ingredients for Burrito Seasoning:

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients for Burritos:

  • 1 pound ground beef (or preferred protein: chicken, turkey, or black beans for a vegetarian option)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed (if not using meat)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
  • 4 large burrito-sized tortillas
